I miss you, lets be sad

I wanted to make sure that you'd remember what really matters to me,

because sometimes little things get in the way and you find out someone

doesn't know you love them, and sometimes-

time lets people forget.

The way life moves- everybody changes.  The things you love,

the things you want to remember just pass you by

and people just fade away.

"Morning smiles like the face of a newborn child,

innocent unknowing.

Winters end, promises of a long lost friend,

speaks to me of comfort.

But I fear-

I have nothing to give.

I have so much to loose here in this lonely place-

tangled up in your embrace.
